 Petro-Canada is an ongoing supporter of Canada's Paralympic athletes and a national partner for the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games in Whistler, B.C. We fuel the dreams of the Canadian Paralympic Team in these ways:
- We are a contributing sponsor of Own The Podium - 2010. This $110-million sport technical initiative is designed to help Canada place in the top three nations at the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games. The focus of the initiative is to provide additional resources and high performance programming to Canadian athletes, coaches and support personnel to help them achieve podium success in 2010.
- Paralympic athletes and coaches are eligible to receive financial assistance through the Fuelling Athlete and Coaching ExcellenceTM Program.

- In partnership with the Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC), we launched the Paralympic Equipment Fund. This grassroots initiative is designed to assist local and provincial organizations in delivering effective athlete development programs to the next generation of competitive athletes by increasing the availability of high-performance Paralympic sports equipment.
